  1. Hey, Holly! Happy belated birthday :) Better late than never, right? It was the thought and all that...
I still have that picture, I will leave it right where it sits in the closet till you come. Maybe you can put it to some better use. Oh, by the way, you gotta hurry up an get another song on here - I can't seem to get "the pickers are comin' " to stop playing over and over and over in my head! :)

  2. Dearest Holly, God has that 'Million dollar' answer for precious Kelton. Please step back and remember his learning disablity is seperate from the person. No, it's not willful. Not anymore than my bedwetting problem was at age 10 or 11. I wanted to be free from that problem desperately. But I'd still wake up in a wet bed. This is not Kelton's willful act. As for the answer....I don't know. Like you say, school will be out for the summer. I admire you for sticking with it and trying everyway to help him. Why not open up your blog to a Q&A session on dislexia? You might discover that you have a support group.

  3. Thanks, Mom, yesterday was just a very bad day. It gets like that sometimes. I feel like I don't know how to back off. How do we progress if we don't strive? I keep second guessing myself as to how much he should be accomplishing. He's one year away from being a teenager, and I getr a panicky feeling when I think how behind he really is. I know, I know, I'm not helping... somehow there is a way...
